Explorer Post 528 - "Learning for Life"
The Washington County Sheriff's Office, in partnership with
learning for Life, works to teach the young adults of our community the different facets of law enforcement.
About the Explorer Post
Exploring is for youth who wish to explore a
career in law enforcement. The program is for young men and women
who are 14 and have completed the eight grade or ages 15-20 years
old.The purpose of the explorer program
is to provide experiences that help young people mature and prepare
them to become responsible and caring adults. The program of
exploring is based on five areas: Career Opportunities, Life Skills,
Leadership Experiences, Character Education and Citizenship.

Training / Meetings:
Meetings are held every other Thursday night at 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Washington County Law Enforcement Center.
Competition Explorer Teams meet every Thursday night.
Area Wide training on 1st Saturday of each month, October - April 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
